A Helping Hand

My photo
Kate J. Thompson
I value creativity, fun, personal responsibility, and growth. As a writer and speaker, I combine my values with my love for words and the rhythm of language. To date I have co-authored two books: It’s So Hard to Love You – Staying Sane When Your Loved One is Manipulative, Needy, Dishonest, or Addicted (New Harbinger 2007) and Fill it In – A Forms Workbook for Aboriginal Students (Ningwakwe Learning Press 2009). Additional publishing and editing credits include articles, short stories, and other adult literacy curriculum. My non-publishing work involves speaking to various groups about trauma, grief, and healing and facilitating writing workshops in which others explore and tell their stories.
